How to Wash Makeup Brushes

Hi everyone!

Here's a quick tutorial on how to wash your makeup brushes:

I like to use baby wash to wash my makeup brushes.

Step 1: Wet brush beneath running faucet. Try not to submerge the entire brush under water or to get it past the bristles. I have this fear that doing that will weaken the bond between the bristles and the handle.

Step 2: Run a bit of water into your palm. Swish the brush back and forth gently. You'll start seeing the buildup of makeup come out.

Step 3: Here you can see the foaming action :)

Step 4: If your hand starts to get dirty, you may want to rinse and repeat the process from Step 1. Always gently squeeze out the excess water from the brush. You may want to give it one or two shakes but I find that just gently squeezing out the excess water with my fingers does the trick just fine.

Here you can see all the makeup brushes I just cleaned. They'll take about a day or more to dry (depending on the weather) so be sure to have some extra brushes on the side if you plan on wearing makeup within the next 24+ hours. :)

Here are the brushes the next day. All clean and dry!

Not to mention super fluffy! :)
